PLATE RESTO

IN NEW YORK STATE YOU CAN HAVE A PERIOD TAG ON A REGISTERED HISTORICAL VEHICLE. I THOUGHT THAT THE WILLYS JEEP DESERVED SUCH A PLATE, SO WITH A LITTLE SEARCHING I FOUND A 1946 NY PLATE THAT I LIKED. I THEN SENT IT TO DAN LANDINO IN MICHIGAN, WHO RESTORES AND HAND LETTERS THEM. I LOVE GUYS LIKE DAN WHO ARE PASSIONATE AND DEDICATED TO THEIR CRAFT. DOING ONE THING-THE RIGHT WAY-WITH PRIDE.

Do you have Dan's contact info, or does he have a website? I have a 1972 California blue plate IH Scout that's plate is rusting but really needs to be saved.

Wow. It's enough to make me want to move (back) to NY and drive an old jeep. Beautiful.
