WHEN I FISRT MOVED TO NYC I LIVED FOR ALL THINGS AGNES B. I WOULD SAVE EVERY NICKLE I HAD TO BUY HER SHIRTS AND STRIPED T'S. MY FIRST PROPER SUIT WAS FROM AGNES B, (GREY AND I STILL OWN IT) I FELT LIKE CARY GRANT (FROM NORTH BY NORTHWEST) WHEN I PUT IT ON AND WORE ANOTHER OF HER SUITS (IN BLACK) WHEN I MARRIED MY WIFE. I HAVE RECENTLY DUG OUT SOME SWEATERS AND SHIRTS FROM STORAGE AND WAS WONDERING WHY I EVER PUT THEM AWAY.

I've always have been curious about that brand. Quality and fit?
I had an AB lambskin blazer back in the day that was so soft it was like a second skin.
I REMEMBER THAT BLAZER WELL. IT WAS WAY ABOVE MY PAID GRADE AT THE TIME!
AS FAR AS QUALITY AND FIT- I HAVE NOT BOUGHT ANYTHING IN SOMETIME BUT WHAT I OWN IS FANTASTIC ON BOTH FRONTS.
Wonderful picture. Your suit is great, but look at the fabulous outfit your wife is sporting. Good show. You are a couple your children will fondly recall as helping to establish their own stylistic sensibilities.
Agnes B has managed to go somewhat under the radar - even here in Europe. But the stuff that I've had from Agnes B has been quite good, and most of it was made in France, and still is, I believe.
I wonder why people always talk of APC...
Thanks for sharing that beautiful photo.
