HOME WITH THE RANGE

WITH SPRING HERE I TOOK DELIVERY ON THE '95 RANGE ROVER FOR THE FARM. WHAT A DIFFERENCE FROM THE LR3 LANDY (WHICH DRIVES LIKE A SPORTS CAR, NOT A TRUCK). IT WAS GREAT DRIVING (MADE THE TRIP FROM EASTERN LONG ISLAND TO UPSTATE NY) BALLSY, ANALOG AND RAW. IN A WORD, FUN. I HATE TO SAY THIS BUT I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THE SNOW.

Very Nice. The country squire needs a RR.

A great 4 wheeler, good build and plenty capable. Just a pity the servicing is so expensive. How are the servicing/repair cost in the US?

As a former Range Rover Classic owner, I'm swollen with jealousy. You've made a great move. Never, ever, ever let her go, no matter how fussy she gets!

beautiful truck. is reliability/upkeep as horrific on these classic RRs as people say? what has been your experience?

JUST GOT HER. I DID BUY IT FROM ONE OF THE LEAD TECHS AT LAND ROVER AND HE TRICKED IT OUT. I TOLD HIM I WOULD HAUNT HIM IF THIS RR IS A HEADACHE. TIME WILL TELL.

Jealous.

Classic rovers make zero sense for just about anyone, but i've owned several, and spent too much time recently looking for a replacement.

Did he remove the adjustable air suspension, or will you be trying to maintain it as is?

THE SUSPENSION IS IN GOOD SHAPE. MY TECH BRETT, WHO SOLD ME THE RR GAVE ME THIS ADVICE ON THE SUSPENSION: "DO NOT FUCK WITH IT AND YOU WILL BE FINE." I DON'T HAVE A BIG INVESTMENT IN THE ROVER SO I WILL DRIVE IT INTO THE GROUND.
