FISHING THE DESCHUTES

I JUST SPENT THREE DAYS FLOATING AND FISHING THE DESCHUTES RIVER IN OREGON WITH THE EXCELLENT GUIDES OF THE DESCHUTES RIVER OUTFITTERS. (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED). WE MOSTLY TROUT FISHED, BUT I WAS TREATED TO A LAST CAST THAT PRODUCED A BEAUTY OF A STEELHEAD IN THE LAST 20 MINUTES OF THE THREE DAY FLOAT. A TRUELY AWESOME FISH.

I love how you are so intent on finding the local flavors of a place. That's dead on great.
