FALL HARVEST


IT WAS HARVEST DAY AT WM. BROWN FARM LAST WEEKEND. TWO PIGS WERE DISPATCHED TO THE FREEZER WITH THE HELP OF MY FRIEND HANS, WHO WALKED ME THROUGH ALL THE INCIDENTALS, FROM HEAD TO TAIL.

Amazing, it is very difficult to kill you own animal on farm in the UK as a result of the Foot and Mouth outbrake some years ago. The whole process looks better your way.

What do you do with heads and trotter?
I have a head and three trotters (Dog ran away with the other)in the freezer, they have been there for a year waiting for me to do something with them!?
