END OF RAMP SEASON=PICKLING

WELL, THE END OF THE RAMPS ARE HERE. THAT MEANS ONE THING- PICKLE AS MANY OF THE BUGGERS AS YOU CAN STOMACH. IT IS F'ING HARD WORK BUT, DEFINITELY WORTH IT. WE DISCOVERED LAST YEAR THEY ARE PROBABLY THE BEST MARTINI ONION THAT WILL EVER GRACE YOUR GLASS!

Wow, never thought of pickling these since I like 'em fresh but this actually seems like something.. I live in ramp country so to say, next season (which spans a little more time b/c there are some damp and cool mountain valleys close by) I'll definitely give this a try. Do you blanch these before submerging 'em into the drink?
