I THINK LL BEAN HAS MADE SOME VALID EFFORTS WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF THEIR SIGNATURE LINE ( I LOVE THE HAND SEWN BLUCHER MOCK. VERY COMFORTABLE AND NO BREAK IN TIME.) BUT, THERE IS NOTHING QUITE LIKE THE CONSTRUCTION AND STYLE OF ORIGINAL BEAN VINTAGE PEICES. I HAVE BEEN COLLECTING THEM FOR A WHILE. HERE IS A COUPLE OF NEW ADDITIONS.

Tried two of these 70's LL Bean hunting jackets on in the past month. Always wide and short on the body! Love the contrast between the grey cord collar and the sand canvas body as well as that brass Talon zipper.
