LABATT'S 52

I DO LOVE BEER - UNCOMPLICATED, SIMPLE, LIGHT CRISP PILSNER STYLE. I HAVE TO BE IN A VERY SPECIAL MOOD FOR AN OVERLY HOPPY BEER EXPERIENCE OR PORTER (NORMALLY WITH FOOD-WELL PAIRED). THE SUMMER PROVES TO BE A TIME FOR BASICALLY JUST SLAMMING THEM ONE AFTER ANOTHER AROUND THE WEBER OR FISHING POND. WELL, THE BEER (AND CHIPS, FRIES AND PORK FAT) HAS CAUGHT UP TO MY PHYSIQUE AND I HAVE TO MAKE A CHOICE-LIGHTER (BELIEVE IT OR NOT) OR LESS. ENTER LABATT 52. SURE, IT IS ONE NOTCH UP FROM SELTZER BUT IT HAS ALL OF THE QUALITIES I LIKE IN A SUMMER BEER AND AT 52 CALORIES A BOTTLE IT IS A WELCOME ADDITION TO MY COOLER.

Could not agree more about the greatness of american Style Pilsner in the summer. Keep it simple

I only drink macro brews.

this is your worst post ever. Long fan . . . but cannot understand this. What's the point? no flavor and don't try to convince me there is.

Appreciate the caloric intake strategy but what's the point of drinking this kind of beer. For me, your most disappointing post ever.

I'll back Colby. Though my preferences run towards Mexican Macros. Give me a Pacifico or Tecate any day over some super dank triple dry hopped belgian style american IPA porter.

They've got their time and place (which in my mind is almost never), but in the summer, next to a grill or hanging poolside the lighter the better every time.

LOVE THE MEXICAN EXPERIENCE!
SORRY TO BE SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT TO THE
ANONYMOUS READERS. I JUST LIKE THE BEER.

If you can stand to drink 1/2 as many beers, you can still enjoy Paulaner Hefeweizen at around 105 cal. per bottle. That's my summer go-to.
