THESE PERSIAN DRIED SOUR CHERRIES LOOKED LIKE THE PERFECT GARNISH FOR A MANHATTAN.
(REHYDRATED IN A BIT OF BOURBON AND RYE OF COURSE)

You know...I vacillate between beach house and country/farm/mountain house, but I think that either one I choose is now going to have to have an outdoor shower...maybe bathtub too and possibly an outhouse.
Very civilized. The Manhattan is my drink of choice. The Weck jars complete the picture. Any feedback on the difference between rehydrating them in bourbon vs rye when you put them in the drink?

Damn good stuff. The last photo - that's the life.
How long do you leave the cherries in the bourbon/rye mixture?
Lovely. Simple, wonderful pleasures. Reminds me of this.

Genius. I think I have everything I need for these. (Except the outdoor shower.)

And just to confirm those are the Weck 762 jelly jars, right?
Whether it be a humble beer or the well mixed Manhattan, the drink in the shower makes the day, well played.
