BEST LAID PLANS

WE HAD LITTLE TIME TO FISH AND WE KNEW THE TIDES WERE ALL WRONG. BUT, WITH SOME NEW EQUIPMENT TO TRY (MY BUDDY'S ROD LINE-RISE,IS NEW TO THE MARKET) WE DECIDED TO WALK THE FLATS ANYWAY. "IT'S JUST GOOD TO GET OUT" MY DAD WOULD SAY. (WE ONLY SPOTTED SOME SMALL CUDA THAT WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH US) THERE WERE PILES OF ANCIENT CONCH SKELETONS EVERYWHERE THAT TOOK MY MIND OFF THE EMPTY FLAT AND ONCE AGAIN PUT ME IN THE MOOD FOR FRIED CONCH AND BEER.

 DECADES OF CONCH SKELETON
MY "KNOCKING" LESSON
 TOOLS OF THE TRADE
NOTHING IS WASTED
THAT BELLY AT THE END MAKES SOME KILLER BAIT
THE "PISTOL".
YES, IT IS THE MALE ORGAN OF THE CONCH
AND YES, I ATE IT AS INSTRUCTED.

Great shots.

If you don't mind me asking, what camera(s) do you use?

For a seemingly promising place, I'm surprised there's not more fly fishing on the flats on Provo. It was such a nice afternoon, it makes me want to pick up a fly rod.
