IN LONG ISLAND CITY, HUGUE DUFOUR AND SARAH OBRATIS HAVE BROUGHT THEIR QUEBECOIS FLAVOR TO M.WELLS. HUGUE WORKED WITH MARTIN PICARD OF
AU PIED DE COCHON IN MONTREAL AND YOU DEFINITELY FIND A BIT OF THAT WORLD THERE. WORTH THE TRIP ON THE 7.
I keep hearing about M. Wells in Long Island City, and I keep beating myself up for not trying them out yet. I've seen their reviews on Serious Eats and New York Mag and I drool every time. What would you recommend for lighter fare?
If one has to die somewhere, please let it be at APAC. The best. Although Chasse et Pesce (sp?) comes close.
ReplyDeleteI AGREE..
ReplyDeleteDude, do you eat all the food you picture? How are you not 300lbs?
ReplyDeleteNext time you shoot Queens food, call me! we just featured M. Wells in the last issue of Edible Queens.

ReplyDeleteDON'T GO THERE FOR ANYTHING "LIGHT".
ReplyDeleteThanks for the advice, Matthew. Guess I'm going to have to save my appetite up for when I go!
